We have spent all second quarter learning about the layers of the Earth and how the lithosphere is constantly changing.

We are about to beging a big project where students will have the opportunity to work in teams to design, build, and test their versions of an earthquake proof building. We are thrilled to start this project, but we can't do it without your help!

Here are the materials we are looking for:

- toothpicks

- sugar cubes

- popsicle sticks

- gummies (worms, bears, lifesavers, etc.)

- white liquid Elmer's glue

If you're willing and able to send any of these items in with your student by Wednesday, November 18, it would be greatly appreciated! Students will have the chance to let me know what they're bringing in on Google Classroom to ensure that we have an even distribution of materials.

Please email me (astewart@wcpss.net) if you have any questions about this project! We are so thrilled to start collaborating and creating! :)
