Post-Break Updates

Welcome back from break! I wanted to send out a few brief reminders now that we're wrapping up our first week back:

- Report cards go home TOMORROW; we will have our awards ceremony on the morning of Friday, January 15 in the sixth grade den at 8am (this day is also an early release day).

- The STEM Expo will take place on January 26. Students may work across teams/grade levels if they so desire, and can work independently, with a partner, or in a small group of four. Check the PTSA website for more information: http://ccmms-ptsa.weebly.com/stem-expo.html

- We have started our third unit about matter and chemistry. We will be doing a lot of lab work throughout the course of this unit, so be on the lookout for updates on what materials we might need for labs. Because the next few units are faster paced than in the first semester, please discuss with your child what he/she is learning on a daily basis!
